Terms of Service

Effective July 2, 2026

By creating an account or using RefundRadar, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What RefundRadar is

RefundRadar helps you track purchases and their return/warranty deadlines, and generates draft refund, price-adjustment, and warranty claim messages based on information you provide. It is not legal, financial, or consumer-rights advice. Generated messages are starting points, not guarantees — whether a retailer or manufacturer honors any claim is entirely up to them and their own policies. You're responsible for reviewing and editing anything before you send it, and for the accuracy of the purchase information you enter.

Your account

You need an account to use RefundRadar. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up.

Plans and billing

  • Free — track up to 5 purchases and generate 1 packet, at no cost.
  • Refund Packet ($9.99, one-time) — unlocks the full packet (all message types, evidence checklist, timeline, and download) for one purchase you choose. Payment is processed by Stripe. Because this unlocks digital content immediately, purchases are generally final; if something went wrong with your purchase, contact us and we'll sort it out.
  • Radar Plus ($19/year) — a subscription that unlocks unlimited purchases and generated packets account-wide, and renews automatically each year until canceled. To cancel, contact us — self-serve cancellation is coming soon.

Acceptable use

Use RefundRadar for its intended purpose: tracking your own purchases and drafting legitimate claims. Don't use it to submit fraudulent, deceptive, or bad-faith claims, and don't try to abuse, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service.

No warranty

RefundRadar is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any refund, price-adjustment, or warranty claim you submit will be accepted.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RefundRadar isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including a retailer or manufacturer declining a claim you submitted.

Termination

You can stop using RefundRadar and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we'll update the effective date above.
